New Student Orientation

Welcome to Triton College!
We’re excited to have you join our community. Whether you're coming straight from
high school or returning after time away, Triton has the programs and support to help
you succeed. Our faculty and staff are here to guide you every step of the way.
To help you start strong, all new first-year students are required to attend New Student
Orientation. Orientation introduces you to important campus resources, academic policies
and support services designed to set you up for success.
Orientation is FREE. There is no cost to you.

On-Campus Orientation Reservations & Access Online Orientation
Welcome to Triton College! We are excited to have you join us.
Prior to completing orientation, students should:
- Complete an application for admission
- Complete the following tests and assessments
- ACCUPLACER Placement Test (Check and see if you do not need to take an exam - Click HERE)
- Register for classes for the upcoming semester
- If you would like to pick up your Triton College photo ID and you’re registered for classes please bring a photo ID (high school ID, state ID, driver’s license, passport, etc.)
New Student On-Campus sessions are available on the following days.
- Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 10AM-2PM in Student Center Cafeteria (Building)
- Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 10AM-2PM in Student Center Cafeteria (Building)
- Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 10AM-2PM in Student Center Cafeteria (Building)
OTHER INFORMATION
- The orientation will be held in the B-Building (FREE Parking is available)
- NOTE: Check-in begins 15 minutes prior to the start time
