Out of This World Camps
While Laser Camp and Rocket Camp are already filled for summer 2026, there are still openings for Careers in Space and on the Ground.
CAREERS in Space and on the Ground Camp
For students entering grades 6 - 8.
July 20-23, 2026 - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

What do sewing, animation, heavy construction, fitness training, laser cutting, growing plants, scuba diving and waste management all have in common? Come join us at the Cernan Earth and Space Center to explore the wide variety of careers in space that aren’t actually IN space. Using our Planetarium, other facilities on the Triton College campus and hands-on activities, campers will discover the wide variety of career opportunities in space and on the ground that make human and robotic space exploration possible.
On the afternoon of the last day, families will be invited to attend live presentations by the students on their choice of topic.
