What You’ll Learn
Upon completing the program, you’ll be able to:
- Interpret and apply safety codes, including NEC and local building regulations
- Understand key electrical concepts—wiring, load calculations, grounding, and circuits
- Test and verify proper EV charger function with a focus on safety and performance
- Troubleshoot common installation and operational issues and perform routine maintenance
- Differentiate between charger types—Level 1, Level 2, and DC fast chargers—and their applications
- Install EV chargers, from site assessment to mounting, wiring, and final connection
